Highbays Upgrade

Highbays Upgrade

Upgrade high ceilings in your facility with powerful, energy-efficient LED high bays designed to replace HID, metal halide, or fluorescent fixtures.

Why It Matters

Why LED High Bay Fixtures Are Essential for Tall Spaces

01

Built for Warehouses, Gyms, and Industrial Ceilings

We install round and linear LED high bays that deliver clear, uniform lighting across wide areas. These fixtures are designed for 15 - 40 foot mounting heights and perform well in dusty, humid, or cold environments.

02

Better Performance Than Metal Halide

Our LEDs use up to 70% less energy and turn on instantly , no warm-up time, no humming. With high lumens per watt and long lifespan, they outperform outdated HID systems in every way.

03

Mounting, Sensors, and Layout Optimization Included

We handle everything from layout design to installation, including motion sensors, daylight controls, and mounting hardware for steel structures, ceilings, or open trusses.

Compliance & Safety for Ontario Lighting Upgrades

All LumaEnergy projects are completed by ECRA/ESA-licensed electrical contractors to the Ontario Electrical Safety Code. Our crews are WSIB-covered, trained in Working at Heights, lockout/tagout and lift operation. We stage work to maintain safe egress, file ESA notifications where required, and recycle fluorescent/HID lamps through approved facilities.

ESA-Licensed Electrical Work

Electrical work is performed by ECRA/ESA-licensed contractors and inspected as required. We file ESA notifications, label circuits, and commission lighting to code on every retrofit.

WSIB-Covered Crews & Certified Training

Technicians are WSIB-covered and trained in Working at Heights, OHSA compliance, and scissor/boom-lift operation. Lockout/tagout and job-hazard analyses are completed before work starts.

Proper Disposal & Recycling (Fluorescent/HID)

Old lamps and ballasts are packaged, transported, and recycled via approved facilities. You receive disposal documentation with your closeout package. No mercury left on site.

Low-Disruption, ESA-Ready Install

We schedule after-hours or phased installs, maintain safe egress and signage, and keep areas clean. Final handover includes ESA paperwork (when applicable), cut sheets, and warranties.

The process of getting a quote, applying for a rebate, and installation was seamless. The work was well done, and the customer service was excellent. A special thank you to Faysal ! Highly recommended.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are high bay lights used for?

High bay lights are designed for tall spaces like warehouses, gymnasiums, factories, and distribution centers — usually with ceilings over 15 feet.

Which is better: round (UFO) or linear high bays?

Round high bays are great for open floor plans, while linear high bays work better in aisles or racking environments. We choose based on your space layout.

Can high bays be installed in cold or dusty environments?

Yes. We use IP65 or higher-rated fixtures that are sealed against dust and moisture — ideal for food plants, cold storage, or sawmills.

Do LED high bays qualify for Save on Energy rebates?

Yes. Most of our high bay fixtures are DLC-listed and eligible for Midstream incentives through approved distributors.

How much energy can I save by switching to LED high bays?

You can save 60–75% compared to HID, metal halide, or fluorescent high bay fixtures — plus eliminate costly ballast and lamp replacements.

Do your high bays support motion sensors?

Yes. We offer high bays with built-in or remote sensors to turn lights off or dim when no motion is detected, saving even more energy.

What mounting options are available?

We offer chain, hook, or bracket mounting depending on your ceiling height and structure type (open truss, steel beams, etc.).

How fast can you complete a high bay retrofit?

Most upgrades are completed in 1 to 3 days depending on size. We work around production hours and ensure minimal disruption.

What is the lifespan of LED high bay lights?

Most commercial high bays are rated for 50,000–100,000 hours depending on the fixture — that’s up to 20 years in low-use areas.

Do you include lighting design or layout planning?

Yes. We provide photometric layouts to ensure correct light levels, fixture spacing, and uniform coverage throughout your space.
